Papita aur Moongfali ki sabzi (Green papaya and peanut ki sabzi) - My First Cooking Experience


Today i decided that i will cook papaya and peanut’s ki sabji. For this recipe i got help from tarala dalal recipe list. For that i got too much praise from my husband you can also get praise from your family and friends. This sabji is dry one so you can opt a option for curry with raita.

Papita and Moongfali ki Sabzi


Green papaya- one medium size

peanut or mongfali –2/3 cup

Onion-2 medium size

turmeric- 1tsp

Cumin seeds-1tsp

Curry leave - 8-10

Asafoetida – 1-2 pinch

Mustered seeds –1tsp

Red chilli powder –1/2tsp


Salt-on your test


First to take a pan in witch roost your peanut. after that remove it’s scale.coarsely grind it.

Now clean the papaya and cut in square pieces and also fine chopped  onion.

Take a fry pan and heat oil now add the mustered seeds, Cumin seeds,Curry leave, Asafoetida until seeds splutter.

Now add add the onion and let it turn to brown .

After that add papaya and peanuts and also add turmeric and red chilli powder .let it cook for  15-20  minutes.

Now your vegetable is ready for serve .
